TP-Link’s TL-SC3430 is advertised as an HD network camera with a 1.3 megapixel CMOS, available for $127 on Amazon. Equally impressive, it’s loaded with:
- H.264 Video Compression (huzzah!)
- 10x digital zoom
- FTP motion detection notifications (works with Sensr.net)
- 1280×1024 Resolution
- 2-way Audio
Unfortunately it’s not a wireless IP camera, but for $127, you really can’t go wrong — HD and H.264 is pretty sweet for the price. The video quality and frame rate are actually good, too. Watch this extremely fascinating video, and see for yourself!
